Stroke of Midnight: January 1st

365 Days of Writing Prompts

Stroke of Midnight
Where were you last night when 2013 turned into 2014? Is that where you’d wanted to be?

We waved good bye to another year…with so much happiness, disappointments, sadness and much more feelings. As there were a lot we were able to achieve in that last whole year and still many things we could not.

And now welcoming A Brand New Year,,,with Hopes, Aspirations, Dreams and All sorts of Expectation from this new year. As we want all that we could not do to try this time and may be get to know more about world and to be more mature.

So how I welcomed this New Year ? Nothing new as I was doing one of my favorite Pastime at office i.e. walking inside office campus midnight with one of the newest and bestest friend. While walking we witnessed a very nice Firework just outside office campus and it W.A.S. Breathtaking. (I can say I always wanted to see fireworks on A New Year day….and here I could witness it)

We wished each other a happy new year and then called many of the friends to Wish them a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

I always want to be Happy on very first day of a new year so that I’ll welcome it smilingly and it will make me smile even more in coming days. So it did turn out that way and I am so so happy today that I just can’t describe in words. Still one sudden thought came to mind and I added on one of my pics.

Here it is…
