Ganeshotsav 2018, Day 2 – On other side of ‘Disappointment’ its ‘Learning’

Day before yesterday I shared my experience of the first day of Ganpati celebration in my society. And today I’ll be sharing yesterday’s experience which was the second day of the festival.

So I decided to visit pandals outside to click more beautiful Ganpati Idols. There are 3 pandals at walk-able distance from my home.  I started at 04.00pm but after walking almost 1.5 km I was disappointed to see 2 out of 3 were not even open for darshan. And I was not in a mood to stand there, in scorching sun, to wait for the opening.

But luckily there was one pandal opened and which was more than enough to make me happy. And I thought at least I’d not be going back home empty handed today. After spending sometime around the it I finally found one good place, almost in the mid of the bustling road. But people were nice to stop their vehicle till I was clicking to not to disturb me.

And this is the Beautiful Bappa photo I could click… after all the hard work and mild disappointment. But I did get my lesson for the day to do check the open timing of such places before visiting. And I’ll surely be going back tomorrow little late in evening to click remaining pandals.

Did you have any moment of disappointment ? If yes what was the lesson you got there. Do share in comments below.
