Hope you are having Fun strolling around!

But I am not, as of now, cause working on a new Blog is one heck of tiring task when you haven’t actually started working on anything technically. And that’s what I am feeling while writing this looooooong Disclaimer page with all the Policies and Terms and Conditions and what not.

But it’s inevitable to leave this very important aspect of a blog as it’s better to be safe than sorry from future issues. So bear with me and read till the end as I explain things as clearly as possible:

1.   Terms of Use

Use of : Moments Thru Lens / www.momentsthrulens.com / http://momentsthrulens.com / https://momentsthrulens.com

Valid From: July 01st, 2017

And before you find anything on this blog interesting (or even if it’s not so interesting) I wanted to give you a heads up that I am not a Licensed Professional and that I am writing and sharing my experiences/learnings as form of self-expression only. While I hope you may find here Something Nice about Photography or anything else that I share, please note that you are reading it at your own risk and of your own free will.

If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you should cease use of this website immediately. If you do however want to read some interesting things about Photography or my journey, please don’t leave just yet.

I reserve the right to change any of these Terms and Conditions at any given time on this website. Please check back here often.

I work very hard to provide you the information (through thorough research or experiments with my Camera or any DIY method), I make no claims of any kind (expressed or implied) about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability of any information, products, services or related graphics contained on Moments Thru Lens for any purpose.

2.   Copyright Policy

This blog is about how I am learning Photography. And that makes me, Pooja Varshney from Moments Thru Lens, the Copyright holder of all the material here (which is covered under Creative Commons license also). Why you ask.. simply cause everything here (photographs, write ups, graphics or media etc.) is created/written by me (phew its tiring to read, write, draw yet interesting and satisfying)

So if by any chance you are tempted or want to use anything from here you must seek my written consent only then it should be reused, reprinted, (part or full) modified or published. Also a link to www.momentsthrulens.com must appear in all copies of any artwork or content, including articles, press releases.

3.   Hold Harmless

I am in no way a Professional Licensed, rather a curious soul who loves scribbling down whatever comes to my mind. Or do my research on any topic before putting it up here on my blog. And that I am not qualified enough to give you medical, legal or other profession advice. So be wary of using any information without contacting local Professionals/Experts in respective fields.

As I already mentioned above, I am writing and sharing my experiences/learnings as form of self-expression only. While I hope you may find here Something Nice about Photography or anything else, please note that you are reading and/or using any of the information at your own risk and of your own free will.

4.   Privacy Statement

While roaming around this blog you’ll never be asked to provide any of your personal information. But if anything compels you enough and you decide to comment on any post or just say hi to me or want to invite me for a cup of tea (obviously virtually) using Contact page, then off-course you’ll be sharing your name and mail address (optionally your website) with me. Otherwise how will I know whom should I reply ?

Just like I am concerned about my privacy and I feel for yours too. This blog does not share personal information with third parties nor do we store any information about your visit to this blog. But cookies are used in order to analyze and optimize your content and reading experience. You can turn off the use of cookies at anytime by changing your specific browser settings.

If you are wondering what Cookie from your kitchen has to do with my blog when it’s not about cooking. So to clarify that for you Cookies are small pieces of data that save information when you visit websites so you don’t have to re-enter it every time you return.

And yes I am not responsible for the privacy practices of any of my blog commentators.

5.   Reserve Rights

I, Pooja Varshney from Moments Thru Lens, reserves the right to change the focus of the blog (just in case if I plan to start writing about Cricket or South Korean Dramas in future), to shut it down (if I find anything more interesting than writing here), sell it, change the terms of use (go to a paid platform) at my own discretion.

6. Comment Policy

I also reserve the rights to edit or delete any comments submitted to www.momentsthrulens.com without notice due to: comments deemed to be spam or questionable spam, comments including profanity, comments containing language or concepts that could be deemed offensive, comments that attack a group or person individually.

7. Review Policy

All the products I review are purchased by me, until otherwise stated specifically. And all the opinions/information/claims/statistics etc. shared here are my own based on my personal experience with the product. Also I am not compensated by any brand, advertiser or PR representative. But at same time I do mention affiliate links to the site where that particular product can be purchased.

8. Advertisers and Sponsors

While I do not earn any money from any of the links on this blog, they are there to aid you in finding the product I am talking about. However I am not responsible for the actions of any “Advertisers or Sponsors”. If you purchase a product or service based upon a link from my blog, you must take action with that company to resolve any issues, not Moments Thru Lens.

9. Letters to the Editor

Any letters, e-mails, blog comments, responses on Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, or questions written directly to me may be used to share with my blogging audience unless specifically requested otherwise. (Part of) these letters or emails, questions or any other feedback may be used in newsletters, blog posts, columns or up-and-coming books.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

And finally a Big thanks to Travel Tester for their detailed instruction on how to write Policies and Disclaimers.
